An emerging leader in the leisure travel industry, GT Trends Inc., a Nevada Corporation, is a privately held company based in the USA with offices in China, India, The Philippines, and Australia soon to follow. GT Trends has active representatives and members in more than sixty countries.
The idea for GT Trends came from our founder and CEO, Ron Armstrong. He conceived the idea of a company that harnesses the combined powers of the Internet and network marketing to do something that no one else has been able to do in either industry. With the help of our technology you are now able to book departures from more than 150 countries. The company's technology offers something that is one-of-a-kind in the travel industry. It's an exciting time in travel. The boundaries of our global community are rapidly blurring, communication is faster and travel is easier and more affordable than ever.

Ron Armstrong - Chief Executive Officer and Founder
With over 26 years of management experience, Ron Armstrong has established GT Trends as the one of the leading online travel providers. With his direction and vision, GT Trends increased its sales exponentially and has reached into international markets in over 60 countries. When Ron Armstrong began his career in Marketing, he had already succeeded in creating and running several companies with marketing and distribution channels.
Now with over 18 years in direct sales beginning as an independent representative and excelling to founding and managing GT Trends since it's inception. In the span of 18 years, his sales organizations of over 500,000 sales representatives encompass the worldwide market predominantly across Europe and the United States and reaching into Australia and Asia.
Eric Ruehlmann: President - International
With over 19 years of management experience, Eric Ruehlmann has a proven track record of improving organizations by articulating a vision, establishing credibility, and driving organizations to achieve goals. Prior to joining the GT Trends management team, Eric Ruehlmann was the COO for a very prestigious and exclusive boutique hotel (private club) specialized in offering its international members and customers a five star experience when visiting New York City.
Mr. Ruehlmann reorganized the entire business within a five year period. He transformed a three star rating business into a five star rating and into one of the best run hospitality companies in the world. Before specializing in travel and hospitality management, Eric, a graduate of Loyola College, was given the responsibility of V. P. of Operations for a New York based defense electronics manufacturing company.
John Hernandez: - Vice President for Sales and Marketing - International
With over 30 years of marketing and management experience, John Hernandez is responsible for the sales and marketing of GT Trends' travel tutorials and the expansion of our sub affiliate travel agent referral marketing system domestically as well as internationally.
John Hernandez’s experience includes serving as an independent representative for Amway and Quarum International where his sales force expanded throughout the United States, then through Europe and Mexico. His experience has been balanced with account executive management to Consulting and Controls Group Inc. in New York and as an industry specialist speaker for Corporate Conventions in the hospitality and gaming industry.
Lili Pan - President - China Proper
Lili Pan has more than 25 years of experience in international business development, especially those between the United States of America and the Peoples’ Republic of China. In his career, he has developed and financed hi-tech industrial parks, manufacturing plants, hotel chains, tourism, entertainment facilities, and commercial real estate. His professional interest is in the development of green / renewable energy and high-tech projects.
Lili is a U.S. securities broker with a focus on international private equity placement. He is the Executive Director of Shenzhen Viking Goldrich, Ltd., Senior Business Advisor to the City of Loudi, China. He is also the executive director of North American Global Investment Council, former Vice President of the Chinese American Business Association of Minnesota and is a board member to three publically listed companies. Lili graduated from Hunan Agricultural University with a BA, has an MBA from University of St. Thomas, and holds an M.A. from the University of Minnesota. Lili has been married to his wife Linlin for 25 years. They have two children, Molly, and Jason.
John Johnson - Director of Associate Support - International
Prior to managing Associate Support for GT Trends John Johnson had over twenty years of professional customer service, management and training experience in a wide range of industries from hospitality to information technology. He has completed courses at the University of Riverside, California and Butte Community College in management, business, and technology. When not providing support for GT Trends’ independent distributors, John enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering as a community leader for the local 4H Youth Development Program, which helps young people gain citizenship, leadership, and life skills.
John is a firm believer in providing support through training. “My philosophy is that it’s better to take the extra time to walk the associate through the process than it is to take the easy way out and do it for them. By training our independent distributors to use the powerful resources available to them in the Agent Only Online Community Center we empower them to ensure their own success.”
Nancy Morales - Director of Finance and Processing
Prior to Managing for GT Trends as Director to Finance and Processing, Nancy Morales had over seventeen years of management in accounting and booking keeping experience as well as management of processing for various marketing corporations and industrial companies. Nancy Morales holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and has been certified in many training and management courses for business management.
After providing management and support for GT Trends Associates and Executives in the Philippines and Internationally, Nancy enjoys her family values while spending time in the islands of the Philippines with her daughter and family members. Nancy continues to enjoy her role as Director of Finance and Processing with GT Trends, since 2007.
Barry Trottier: Executive Director for Information Technology and Software Development
With over 11 years experience in software programming, Barry Trottier specializes in the web-based sales tracking software for GT Trends. His expertise in software development includes 9 years of developing Windows-based and 3-tier architecture web applications. He began his experience as a software engineer for Healthline Systems out of San Diego, California. He was given the task of launching a new line of products that consisted of the modernization of their current medical credentialing software. He later was the Software Development Director and head developer where he was instrumental in landing GDI, Inc. as #37 in the 2002 edition of the Inc 500. Global Domains International achieved 3479% growth with sales growing from $261,000 in 1997 to $9,341,000 in 2001. GT Trends' IT department is responsible for the technology supporting tracking on GT Trends' sales of tutorials and travel sales.
Garett Berg - Chief Information Officer
Garett Berg's expertise in software process management includes 8 years of working with mission critical million dollar plus software as well as specific purpose driven web applications. Mr. Berg began his career as a Quality Assurance Analyst for TriTech Software Systems. In 2000, Mr. Berg left TriTech Software Systems to join Global Domains International, Inc. He worked as Senior Project Manager until moving on to co-found Senbase Software. As COO, Garett Berg has worked hard at producing innovative sales force automation software that to date has supported companies with over 100,000 members in their sales force that have done $80 million in sales in just 24 months.
Mr. Berg is currently the Chief Information Officer of GT Trends. He is a very important proponent in making GT Trends reach it's global distribution status in over 60 countries worldwide.
